Cellenis® Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Platelet Rich Plasma is an appropriate technique for the treatment of photoinduced aging.

Platelets are cells devoid of a nucleus but rich in mitochondria, organelles and granules capable of synthesizing and storing a large number of growth factors, which are biologically very active proteins that when they leave the extravascular space are responsible for platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) chemotacticism on other cells in the environment, favoring their proliferation and differentiation, while stimulating angiogenesis and regeneration of the extracellular matrix Transforming growth factor beta (TGF-beta).

The main function of platelets is to trigger the healing process and the regeneration of injured tissues through a chain reaction that leads to repair in a process that lasts months despite the fact that the factors synthesized and stored in them have a half-life of a few hours.

This process that occurs naturally for the repair of an injured tissue can be started artificially starting from the centrifugation of a small amount of peripheral blood of the patient, from which the part of the plasma that corresponds to the concentrated platelets is obtained.

This platelet-enriched serum is injects immediately into the desired skin tissue regenerate at an accelerated rate without actually causing injury.

The results obtained are satisfactory, especially in skin aging, dark circles and alopecia.

Cellenis® Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a proprietary PRP technology based on blood separation according to density using a unique proprietary separation gel.

The system allows for the preparation of pure PRP with optimal platelet concentrations and cellular content. Virtually, all Red Blood Cells are eliminated from PRP fraction and the concentration of pro-inflammatory Granulocytes having undesired components is highly reduced. Over the days and weeks following the Cellenis® PRP treatment, growth factors released by the platelets stimulate the growth of new blood vessels and more collagen growth, thickening the epidermis and providing an improvement in the skin’s texture and tone.

What can Cellenis® PRP do for your skin?

Enhance dermal collagen expression and skin brightness

Leads to an efficient skin rejuvenation and slows down the ageing process by stimulating:

Give your skin a healthy, refreshed looking
younger glow

Using the correct technique, Cellenis® PRP will increase the skin’s supply of nourishing blood, stimulate oil glands which are drying, stimulate new fibrocytes to produce more skin firming collagen, and stimulate growth of new skin cells to thicken and smooth the skin.

A simple easy-to-use 3 step process

Step 1

Collect Patients Blood

(11ml or 22ml tube) and Centrifuge (for about 10 min.)

Step 2

Extract Platelet Poor Plasma (PPP)

based on the level of concentration needed

Step 3

Collect PRP and apply in treated area.
